I, Upamanyu Dutta, am a professional sailor, an Olympic champion in the making from India.Winning national and international titles from the age of 12, I am now campaigning for the 2024 Olympics.

Training
Long hours on the water honing my sailing skills and long hours on land working on my strength and physical fitness. That’s my daily fare. Fitness is the cornerstone of my training program. To beat the best in the world I need to be as stronger and fitter than them!

Experience
Transitioning through different classes, from the junior Optimist, to the double-hander International 420, the single-hander Laser Radial and now the supremely competitive Olympic category – the Laser Standard, my learning curve makes me more accomplished sailor today.
